Who We Are
Naples Ballet and Company is a 501(c), nonprofit organization dedicated to setting new standards for artistic excellence and promoting cultural enrichment by creating awareness of the art of dance within the Naples community.
Our mission is to provide dancers of all ages with professional dance instruction and performance opportunities. We strive to excel in meeting expert standards of artistic development, and instill our dancers with professional values to benefit their artistic pursuits.
Funding for Naples Ballet is generated through ticket sales, fundraising and charitable contributions.

Our Classes
Our curriculum is directed at building the student's strength, focus, creativity and love for dance by exploring and expanding their talents in order to develop physical, social and intellectual skills in the art of dance.
We offer professional dance instruction for all ages, regardless of whether a student's goal is a career in dance or purely recreational.
Ballet is a science of the body and an art of the mind: our training embraces the development of the dancer's potential from the first day of class.
Naples Ballet is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 9 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age- appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Pre-Primary through Level 3 will be taught by ABT® Certified Teacher, Christophe Maraval, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
Pre-Ballet
Introduce your little dancer to the beautiful art of ballet! This class will enhance your child's coordination, balance and flexibility with the teaching of basic ballet positions, steps, and terminology through standing barre work and simple center floor exercises. Your child will enjoy exercises in creative dance and music exploration.
Ballet class
Our ballet teaching method is Vaganova style, created by Agrippina Vaganova in 1948, it is a fusion of French romantic ballet, Russian artistry and Italian athleticism. It focuses on the harmonious movement of the dancer's body with particular emphasis on proper placement and alignment of the body. This focus on core strength allows for greater stability and mobility, and also lends a light effortless quality to jumps and turns. The Vaganova method is characterized by impeccable precision, attention to detail, energy style, ease of execution and emotion-evoking grace.

Naples Ballet will offer study time only. We will not be conducting academic classes or tutoring of any kind
Adults Ballet
Whether you’re looking to embark on the study of ballet or hone in on your existing talent, this class is what you are looking for. The instructors are committed to giving each student attention while also moving the class forward.
